Horses of Hoofprint Bay — Official Launch Trailer

Horses of Hoofprint Bay is out now on Steam, released November 4, 2026. Thogli Studios developed it; The Mane Quest and FinPlay (CN/JP) published it. For the current video, use the Trailers & Screenshots section of the Steam store page rather than older footage.

What you actually do

It's a hand-drawn 2D stable management and riding game, introduced in The Mane Quest's announcement post. You take over farmland, upgrade it from ramshackle sheds into a stud farm, and earn money through show jumping, riding lessons, and selling home-bred yearlings.

The released feature set, per the Steam store page:

  • Grooming and hoof care interactions, with injuries and saddle sores to manage.
  • Training that builds strength and confidence for show jumping and cross country.
  • Trail rides through forest, beach, and mountain areas.
  • Breeding foals that inherit coloring, white patterns, and personality traits.
  • Building upgrades, staff hiring, and a breeding lab at advanced stages.
  • An in-game library of equestrian knowledge.
  • Character and tack customization, plus accessible modding of textures and text files.

Demo vs. full release

Footage released around the October 2025 announcement predates the November 2026 launch, so treat it as pre-release. The announcement's talk of playtesting "in the coming months" and a release "sometime in 2026" was planning only; the store page's November 4, 2026 date is the authoritative release record.
